Gone for good? Good riddance!

She's shutting down her blog she says. Is it just me or does anyone really believe that he/she'll be gone for good?

I read xiaxue's blog every now and then. Less nowadays. For an alternative view, I tend to check out xialanxue too whenever I do visit xx, just for the fun of it. My impression of both are,

for xx, she is crude, disillusioned, and in your face, but at least she is funny, honest, and provides entertaining posts every so often.

for xlx, I honestly find that she is not so much of a writer, but someone who I can best described as an attention seeker. Reading her posts sometimes, especially those that are non-xx related, are suprisingly bland, and I would hardly think she could reach the level of 'popularity' if it had not been the fact that there are so many people who couldn't stand xx. People just wish to find an agreeing voice, no matter whether what they say make sense or not.

I'm seriously put off by xlx recent antics regarding the nyp tammy incident. She was once again riding on others to raise her own popularity, and when the tide turned, tried to be every the nice guy, portraying herself as some righteous crusader, going around forums and invading other people's blog, telling people what to do... what a fakeo.

However, I seriously find it hard to believe that xlx will be gone for good. She is too much of a publicity whore. Her claim that she might turn to blogging in another name, I'm willing to bet that no one would even bother to read her mediocore posts. She will then turn back to doing what she does best in order to get the attention she craves... riding on others popularity... trust me...

Tammy Video

I must say readers are pretty efficient. And apparently, it is not just a single clip that I initially thought it was, as I received 2 seperate clips, and there are rumours of more.

Before passing judgement like a movie critic, I would like to state that the views are mine alone.

Fuck that. I shall just watch and not comment. Think that would be a wiser thing to do.

NYP Scandal

As most of you should know by now, the hottest scandal over the past couple of weeks is about this gal from NYP that had her handphone stolen, and a sex video of her and her bf was circulated on the net.

Much as I pity the poor gal, I'm not going to debate the moral issue involved like so many had, nor her intelligence(or apparent lack of it) in allowing her bf to film it, AND keep it in her hp that can so easily misplaced or simply viewed by curious frens who like to check out other people's phone functions(I know alot of ppl are like tat). Personally, I think what she did is pretty common in this digital age nowadays, i'm sure many of you have your own form of porno on your handphones, regardless on whether you're starring in it or not. :)

The thing that irks me here is how some people first played the devil by gleefully spreading the news, then in a matter of days or even hours, turned to play the angel by proclaiming what a poor thing she is, people should stop spreading her video clip, and even proclaiming wanting to help her find out who is the culprit that spread the video in the 1st place. Bloody hypocrites.

The other type of people, most commonly seen in forums, starts initially whining in threads, asking people what they are talking about, and literally begging for people to share the clip with them. Somehow, along the way someone must have cos after a few days, they too turned angel and start proclaiming what a poor gal she is and people should stop distributing the clip. After they had finished watching it. Bloody hypocrites x2

I personally have not seen the footage yet, and I won't pretend that I'm not interested. I'm a guy after all, not some bloody hypocrites. Is there really any guy out there that is not interested in porn? As the saying go, 有不吃鱼的猫吗?

p.s. So... anyone can send to me? :P

Deadlines

I love deadlines. Yes, I'm a freak, I already know that. :)

Deadlines make me work. I'm the world's number one procrastinator who follows the procrastinator creed religiously.

-----------------------------------
Procrastinator's Creed

* 1. I believe that if anything is worth doing, it would have been done already.
* 2. I shall never move quickly, except to avoid more work or find excuses.
* 3. I will never rush into a job without a lifetime of consideration.
* 4. I shall meet all of my deadlines directly in proportion to the amount of bodily injury I could expect to receive from missing them.
* 5. I firmly believe that tomorrow holds the possibility for new technologies, astounding discoveries, and a reprieve from my obligations.
* 6. I truly believe that all deadlines are unreasonable regardless of the amount of time given.
* 7. I shall never forget that the probability of a miracle, though infinitesmally small, is not exactly zero.
* 8. If at first I don't succeed, there is always next year.
* 9. I shall always decide not to decide, unless of course I decide to change my mind.
* 10. I shall always begin, start, initiate, take the first step, and/or write the first word, when I get around to it.
* 11. I obey the law of inverse excuses which demands that the greater the task to be done, the more insignificant the work that must be done prior to beginning the greater task.
* 12. I know that the work cycle is not plan/start/finish, but is wait/plan/plan.
* 13. I will never put off until tomorrow, what I can forget about forever.
* 14. I will become a member of the ancient Order of Two-Headed Turtles (the Procrastinator's Society) if they ever get it organized.
-----------------------------------

Without deadlines, I'll never get anything done. The surprising thing is though, that more often then not, I'll meet the deadlines. Imagaine this. A project with a duration of 6 mths is supposed to be due soon. Just started work on it, and I'm confident in completing it in another week or so. Imagine how stupid everyone(me included) will look if I had started this thing early, and submitted it 5 mths ahead of schedule. I'm just trying to save everyone from the embarrassment.
